Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in residential treatment or related setting preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and supervision to clients in a residential recovery setting.
• Help maintain a respectful, recovery-focused environment.
• Monitor clients and support adherence to program expectations and house guidelines.
• Complete regular client check-ins and communicate concerns to appropriate treatment staff.
• Observe and document medication-related activities per agency procedures.
• Accurately report medication discrepancies and other issues; complete client documentation.
• Assist with daily residential routines and program needs.
• Answer phones and assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain organized and appropriate common areas.
• Provide encouragement while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Communicate effectively with counselors, nursing staff, and leadership.
• Follow confidentiality requirements and agency policies.

Red River Recovery Center – Dilworth, MN (Very close to fargo/moorhead area).

Support recovery. Build hope. Every other weekend.

Red River Recovery Center is looking for a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Weekend Residential Recovery Support Specialist to join our team.

This position is scheduled every other weekend, with additional weekday shifts available to pick up when extra hours are desired.

Weekend Shift Options

• Overnight: Friday & Saturday | 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• PM Shift: Saturday & Sunday | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

What You'll Do

As a Weekend Residential Recovery Support Specialist, you’ll help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals participating in residential substance use disorder treatment.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide day-to-day support and supervision to clients in a residential recovery setting
• Help maintain a respectful, recovery-focused environment
• Monitor clients and support adherence to program expectations and house guidelines
• Complete regular client check-ins and communicate concerns to appropriate treatment staff
• Observe and document medication-related activities in accordance with agency procedures
• Accurately report medication discrepancies, concerns, or other issuesComplete required client documentation, progress notes, and incident reports
• Assist with daily residential routines, activities, and program needs
• Answer phones and assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
• Help maintain organized and appropriate common areas
• Provide encouragement and support while maintaining professional boundaries
• Communicate effectively with counselors, nursing staff, leadership, and other residential staff
• Follow confidentiality requirements, agency policies, and professional standards
• Assist with other residential program responsibilities as assigned

• Previous experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, recovery services, human services, or a related setting preferred
• Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
