Job summary

Red River Recovery Center in Dilworth, MN seeks aResidential Support Staff to assist clients in a daytime, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM role within a residential treatment program.

You will welcome admissions, coordinate transportation to appointments, and help clients understand program expectations while maintaining professional boundaries and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer skills including Word/Excel.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to pass background checks.
• Experience in behavioral health or recovery services helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise clients throughout daily routines.
• Check in with clients and share concerns with the team.
• Lead New Client Orientation for admissions Monday–Thursday.
• Help new arrivals understand facility expectations.
• Provide transportation to approved appointments.
• Assist with supervised medication administration and document in eMAR.
• Complete documentation, incident reports, and program tasks.
• Answer phones and assist with filing and data entry.
• Monitor shared spaces and maintain a safe environment.
• Follow confidentiality, agency policies, and professional standards.

Join Our Team as a Residential Support Staff!

Red River Recovery Center | Dilworth, MN
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Looking for a daytime position where you can work with people, stay active, and make a difference in your community?

Red River Recovery Center is hiring a Residential Support Staff to support clients and daily operations in our residential substance use disorder treatment program.

Your day might include welcoming a new admission, driving a client to an appointment, helping someone understand program expectations, and completing documentation. This role is a good fit for someone who is approachable, organized, dependable, and comfortable keeping professional boundaries.

Your Role on the Team

You’ll work alongside counselors, treatment coordinators, and leadership to help provide a structured and supportive environment. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and supervising clients throughout their daily routines
• Checking in with clients and sharing concerns with the appropriate team members
• Leading New Client Orientation for scheduled admissions Monday–Thursday
• Helping new arrivals feel welcome and understand facility expectations
• Providing transportation to approved medical, mental health, dental, and other appointments
• Assist with supervised medication administration and complete accurate, timely medication documentation in the electronic medication administration record (eMAR)
• Completing documentation, incident reports, and assigned program tasks
• Answering phones and assisting with filing, data entry, and administrative work
• Monitoring shared spaces and supporting a safe, respectful residential environment
• Following confidentiality requirements, agency policies, and professional standards

What You Bring

Qualifications include:

Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, human services, or recovery services is helpful.
