Merakey is seeking a Facility Attendant for our Fresh Start program in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports Veterans and others in transitional housing, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, medication oversight, incident reporting, and completing trainings within mandated timeframes. The position offers a supportive nonprofit environment with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Effective communication skills essential.
• Experience working with VA population preferred.
• Minimum age 18 and eligible to work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents to maintain a safe, harassment-free environment.
• Perform building checks for cleanliness and safety.
• Write incident reports and follow policy for reporting to supervisor.
• Monitor medication administration and report issues to supervisor.
• Oversee assigned chores and complete required trainings on time.
