Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Part-Time Relief Driver for Saturday and Sunday routes in the Cincinnati area. You will service residential routes, operate various trucks, and ensure safe, compliant waste removal with professional customer interaction.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL, ability to read maps, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Ability to enter/exit the truck approximately 300-500 times per day.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, safely and compliantly.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300-500 times daily on assigned routes.
• Assist with loading/unloading, may move containers from enclosures or buildings.
• Replace receptacles at curb or designated areas and clean spills.
• Maintain and update driver logs and routes; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and ensure excellent service.
• Ensure truck cab cleanliness and packer blade cleanliness.
• Deliver containers as needed and support other duties as assigned.
