Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a weekend option position (Saturday and Sunday, 7a-7p) in the surgery imaging area. The role involves operating x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment, preparing patients, and coordinating with radiologists and physicians to ensure precise imaging.

Requirements include 0–3 years’ experience, AHA BLS, active ARRT RT(R) or board eligibility (with credential within 6 months), and current Indiana ISDH radiologic licensure or ISDH

Qualifications

0–3 years of relevant experience required
BLS certification through AHA required
Active RT(R) with ARRT or board eligible; obtain credential within 6 months of hire
Current Indiana ISDH license or ISDH Radiology Student Permit

Responsibilities

Explain exam and position patients for imaging
Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians
Follow radiation safety protocols during procedures
Document patient history and exam details in EMR
Monitor patients during exams for safety
Assist with minimally invasive procedures when needed
