Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for part-time weekend shifts. The role involves performing imaging exams, including MRI, fluoroscopy, and general radiography, with patient education and safety as priorities.

Graduate or Registry Eligible Technologist, with BLS certification, is expected to join a team serving Gallatin and surrounding communities. New grads are considered; MRI patient care on/off table duties are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Registry Eligible Radiologic Technologist from an educational program in Radiologic Technology.
• New Rad Tech Graduates considered.
• Registry Eligible Technologist must be registered within three months of graduation.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging exams including surgery, fluoroscopy, and general exams.
• Obtain questionnaire prior to MRI exam and assist MRI patients on/off table.
• Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications when ordered; monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and address image quality issues; document results.
