Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging exams including surgery, fluoroscopy and general studies. The role involves preparing patients, administering contrast when needed, and ensuring image quality with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

How you'll contribute

Position will perform imaging exams including, surgery, fluoroscopy, and general exams. Obtain questionnaire prior to MRI exam. Also will help MRI patients on/off table.

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

What we're looking for

Graduate or Registry Eligible Radiologic Technologist of an educational program in Radiologic Technology.

Minimum Work Experience

New Rad Tech Graduates considered.

6 months experience as Rad Tech - Preferred.

Additional requirements include:

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Registry Eligible Technologist must be registered within three (3) months of graduation.
