Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas in Gallatin, TN. This full-time mid-shift role requires educating patients, preparing imaging equipment, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be a Graduate or Registry Eligible Radiologic Technologist with at least 6 months of Rad Tech experience, able to monitor patients and respond to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Registry Eligible Radiologic Technologist required.
• 1+ year preferred, 6 months Rad Tech experience minimum.
• Familiarity with imaging protocols and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient on procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed; monitor patient condition.
• Set up equipment, select exposure factors, and ensure imaging quality; address malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures; analyze results for quality.
