Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a part-time, weekend day shift. The role includes performing general diagnostic radiology imaging under physician direction, involving patient positioning, equipment operation, and documentation. ARRT (R) and BLS are required at time of hire.

Hours: Saturday and Sunday 7am–5pm or 7am–7pm with rotating weekends and select weekdays. Competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits are available, with potential shift

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)
• ARRT (R) Certification Required at time of hire
• BLS Certification required

Responsabilités

• Performs general diagnostic radiology imaging studies under the direction of a physician.
• Positioning patient for accurate anatomy/pathology demonstrations.
• Operates radiology equipment and electronic radiology systems.
• Prepares patient room/equipment/medications and maintains supplies.
• Explains procedures to patients and completes documentation.
