Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a part-time, weekend day shift. The role includes performing general diagnostic radiology imaging under physician direction, involving patient positioning, equipment operation, and documentation. ARRT (R) and BLS are required at time of hire.

Saturday and Sunday: 7am - 5pm or 7am - 7pm (10 or 12 hr shifts)

Flexible scheduling options available, including a rotating shift with coverage every other weekend and select weekdays

Overview

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $33.25 - $49.11 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
