Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school.
• Valid ARRT certification is required.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) is necessary.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a must.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks such as lifting patients and/or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take radiographs of patients for diagnoses and treatment.
• Ensure high-quality radiographic images are obtained.
• Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam.

Knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures

Ability to obtain high-quality images

Effective communication with patients and colleagues

Education

Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school
