Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Radiology Technologist for weekend-day CT/X-ray duties in Roanoke. The role requires ARRT registry eligibility and BLS-HCP; MRI/CT registrations may be pursued if not already held.

The tech will operate advanced imaging equipment, administer contrast as needed, and ensure patient safety and quality imaging. Candidates should have a Radiologic Technology credential and strong computer and communication skills, with willingness to work across modalities as required and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registry or registry eligible; BLS-HCP required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment to obtain quality images for interpretation.
• Perform IV contrast injections and other techniques as needed.
• Schedule and register patients; maintain patient files and records.
• Observe and care for patients with safety and ethics in mind.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team to plan patient care.
