Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend and overnight shifts at the Roanoke Medical Center. The role entails CT imaging procedures, operation of CT equipment, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images with patient safety as a priority.

The ideal candidate is ARRT registered with AHA BLS-HCP, a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, and able to work with patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. Shift: Fri–Sun, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered; AHA BLS-HCP required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of CT procedures, cross‑sectional anatomy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of CT imaging procedures for radiologic diagnosis.
• Operates CT equipment and ensures high-quality diagnostic images.
• Performs IV contrast injections and other required skills.
• Processes patients, scheduling, registration and file management as needed.
• Complies with imaging policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in training of students and staff; maintains ARRT registry.
