Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; not required for Radiology Assistants hired before Feb 2026.
  • BLS/CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Ability to use computer systems and retrieve data as needed.
  • Experience as MA/EMT/LPN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit.
  • Provide constant patient observation in immediate care area.
  • Coordinate information between nursing and technology staff.
  • Access and present patient information in EMR for review.
  • Enter data into O2 to assist radiology staff.
  • Prepare imaging rooms before/after exams for efficient turnover.
  • Transport patients to and from radiology and ensure comfort during transport.
  • Report condition changes during transport to staff/physician.
  • Assist with inpatient/outpatient schedule coordination and patient education.
