The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams and care for patients on weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 8a–9p). You will follow approved protocols, ensure patient safety and proper identification, manage data in PACS and EMR, and uphold ALARA radiation safety, quality assurance and teamwork with the radiology staff.
Requires JRCERT program, ARRT/CMRT certifications, BLS/CPR, and commitment to professional
Competenze
- High school diploma or equivalent required; JRCERT-accredited program mandated.
- Active radiologic technology licensure and certifications listed in the ad.
- Must demonstrate safety, accuracy and patient-care focus.
Mansioni
- Images patients using approved protocols and ensures accurate data entry into PACS/EMR.
- Ensures patient identification, safety and proper preparation for procedures.
- Reviews studies for quality; ensures correct coding and charging.
- Addresses equipment issues and communicates with the engineering team.
- Adheres to ALARA and radiation safety guidelines during imaging.
