Job summary

UT Health San Antonio Radiology is seeking a Radiologic Technologist-Associate for weekend coverage in San Antonio, TX. You will operate and maintain x-ray equipment, position patients, and perform quality imaging to assist radiologists in diagnosis. The role requires safety discipline, comfort with imaging tech, and ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in radiologic imaging.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment with safety.
• Comfortable with computers and imaging technology.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains x-ray equipment and takes x-rays as ordered.
• Prepares patients for x-ray and administers drugs or contrast as needed.
• Assists patients with transferring, positioning and procedure guidance.
• Selects imaging parameters and operates consoles and accessories.
• Performs radiographic quality assurance and reports equipment issues.
• Maintains exam room cleanliness and stocks supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
