Job summary

QUALITY MEDICAL IMAGING OF TEXAS in San Antonio, TX is hiring part-time Radiologic Technologists to deliver imaging and cardiac monitoring at patients' bedsides in a mobile setting. You will drive a company vehicle to homes, offices, or assisted living facilities to provide state-of-the-art Digital X-rays.

We have operated since 2001 and seek talented individuals who work independently, with ALARA safety and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiological Technology.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record.
• ARRT certification, CPR and BCLS certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures (X-Rays) as prescribed by a physician.
• Operates DR Equipment bedside, including patients' homes.
• Determines proper technique by selecting voltage, current, and exposure time.
• Positions patients for the proper view of the affected area.
• Instructs patients on proper physiological requirements for the procedure.
• Operates portable radiographic equipment and monitors its operation.
• Follows infection control procedures and ALARA principles.
• Performs EKG examinations.
• Drives company vehicle to multiple surrounding service areas.
• Takes calls according to monthly schedule.
