Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Control (Chemistry) to lead the QC Chemistry team during weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday, 12:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.).

You will oversee analytic testing of raw materials, in-process and finished drug products, ensure compliance with SOPs, and collaborate with QA/QC to address quality events. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field, 6+ years FDA-regulated experience, and proficiency with test methods,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science field; radiochemistry, nuclear health physics preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant experience with 21 CFR 210, 211 in FDA-regulated industry preferred.
• Experience with equipment qualification, software validation, test method validation, and/or process validation.
• Experience authoring SOPs, Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations and Laboratory Investigations.
• Understanding of validation and technology transfer processes; writing procedures and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of chemists or staff in analysis of raw materials, in-process and drug product testing.
• Leads QC Chemistry team on the weekend shift; identifies quality events and coordinates with QA/QC per site SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees technicians operating analytical equipment, performs tests, interprets results and documents findings per SOPs.
