Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab in Rochester, NY is seeking a Weekend Physical Therapist to join our team at the Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a state-of-the-art facility. This weekend role offers mentorship, growth opportunities, and weekly pay in a supportive SNF setting.

You will evaluate residents, design rehabilitation plans, alleviate pain through exercises and hands-on therapy, supervise therapy assistants, and work with a compassionate multidisciplinary team to improve residents'

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current New York State PT License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility information.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.
