Sigma Health Rehab in Rochester, NY, invites a weekend Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. We offer mentorship, weekly pay, and flexible weekend/evening hours with state-of-the-art rehab facilities.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents and creating rehab plans, relieving pain with exercises and hands-on therapy, and supervising PT assistants while upholding confidentiality and compliance with regulations. New grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort

Education
