CATCH, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatric Technician for weekend shifts at Matti's House, a 16-bed residential program in Philadelphia. You will provide direct support, recovery coaching, and day-to-day care to residents under supervision.

The role emphasizes hands‑on help, observation of mood and safety, and documentation. A strong team focus and trauma‑informed approach are valued in this setting.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Experience supporting adults with serious mental illness in residential, inpatient, crisis, emergency-services, or other behavioral health settings.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet CATCH requirements for operating an agency vehicle.

Aufgaben

• Support residents in carrying out individualized treatment, rehabilitation, and transition plans.
• Provide coaching and skill-building support related to personal care, communication, community participation, conflict resolution, and other recovery goals.
• Lead or co‑lead structured groups and activities and support residents during meals, appointments, and community outings.
• Observe residents' behavior, mood, functioning, and safety and promptly communicate significant changes or concerns to clinical or nursing staff.
• Complete progress notes, shift documentation, incident reports, and other required records accurately and on time.
• Use approved de‑escalation and crisis‑response practices and help maintain a safe, respectful, trauma‑informed environment.
• Transport residents in an agency vehicle when assigned and participate in team meetings, supervision, and required training.

Matti's House is a 16-bed Long-Term Structured Residence providing 24-hour staffing, psychiatric and nursing services, therapeutic programming, and daily-living skill development. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will provide hands-on support that helps residents strengthen their stability, recovery, and independence.

What you'll do

• Support residents in carrying out individualized treatment, rehabilitation, and transition plans.
