Job summary

Advocate Health’s 9ST unit seeks a compassionate RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care for adults with cardiovascular needs. The role emphasizes teamwork, evidence-based practice, and delivering high-quality outcomes on a 36-hour week schedule.

New grads are welcome; strong passion for cardiac care and ability to communicate effectively are essential. The unit partners closely with CVICU for optimal patient trajectories and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• New Grads Welcome!
• Strong interest and passion for cardiac care.
• A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
