Peru, IL-based role involving rotating 12-hour shifts, safety compliance, and teamwork. TWIC credentialing is required and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or certificate in related technical field preferred.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts; must be available to work days, nights, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Related work experience in chemical plant, industrial/manufacturing, or military is preferred.
• Ideal applicant will be proficient in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control five chemical batch reactors through a computerized system.
• Measure chemicals and add to the process.
• Perform housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
• Operate reactors and equipment to expected performance levels.
• Work in a team environment where your contributions are encouraged, recognized, and valued.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary.
