Job summary

Precision Castparts in Eastlake, Ohio is seeking an Engineering Technician for the weekend shift (3:00am - 3:00pm). The role supports the Process Engineering team with root-cause analysis, material disposition, and cross-functional dispositions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with inspection, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in production processes.

Qualifications

• FANUC robots familiarity or willingness to learn.
• Experience with injection equipment is a plus.
• Proactive, hands-on thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and develop improvement plans.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, planning, and work instructions to ensure product conformance.
• Coordinate scrap dispositions with internal engineering and quality teams.
• Evaluate non-conforming parts and document rework steps with engineers.
• Provide recommendations to improve existing and new processes for efficiency.
• Conduct internal and supplier Quality System audits.
• Review and manage quality metrics, charts, and graphs to drive top-level improvements.
