Job summary

Silicon Resourcing Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Process Engineer for a full-time weekend shift (Fri–Mon, 4/10’s) in California.

The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems to manage production processes while supervising staff and maintaining equipment. The candidate will perform maintenance planning, qualification of new machinery, and provide reporting on process issues with a goal of improving uptime, throughput, and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have management/leadership experience.
• Must have engineering/process management experience.
• Must communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Must have math, analytical and computer skills to support production and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support to the shop floor.
• Interact with management during overlap periods.
• Work independently and in a team environment with a hands-on emphasis.
• Perform statistical and process analysis duties.
• Design/integrate/implement corrective and preventive actions to maximize uptime and throughput.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in quality, cost or efficiency.
• Train new employees on safety and shop floor procedures and compliance.
• Prepare reports on engineering, quality and regulation.
• Possibly supervise technicians in the future.
• Interact with management, coworkers, suppliers or third parties.
