Job summary

Intervala, LLC is seeking a Weekend shift Process Engineer in Mount Pleasant, PA. The role focuses on establishing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes and documentation to support production and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a related technical degree (or equivalent experience), and experience in electronic/electromechanical manufacturing environments with ISO 9000/13485/AS9000 exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with 2 years of relevant work experience OR Associate with 4 years OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in electronic and/or electromechanical manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in an ISO 9000, ISO 13485, or AS9000 environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes and systems.
• Develop assembly instructions, workmanship standards, and process documentation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure proper programs and documentation for production.
• Collect, analyze, and present manufacturing data to monitor targets.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering on Design for Excellence initiatives (Cost, Test, Manufacturability, Assembly).
• Work with suppliers on manufacturing processes and capabilities.
• Research and recommend new manufacturing technologies to reduce costs and increase capacity.
• Program manufacturing and inspection equipment.
• Support a safe, quality-focused, continuous improvement culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
