Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Weekend PRN Clinician/Therapist to deliver high-quality behavioral health services on weekends. The role involves psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and delivering individual, group, and family therapies as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and state licensure such as LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT, with 1–3 years in psychiatric care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in a psychiatric health care facility with family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.
• License: State licensure such as LCSW/LCSW-A, LCMHC/LCMHC-A, LMFT/LMFT-A or other approved behavioral health licensure.
• Additional requirements: CPR and CPI or HWC training, competency exam, possible flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and risk evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services as indicated.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
• Complete discharge planning and coordinate aftercare services as needed.
• Conduct crisis assessments and provide intervention for behavioral health emergencies.
