Job summary

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist for weekend PRN coverage to support our rehabilitation team. The role involves direct patient care, evaluating referrals, and implementing treatment plans in a 160-bed facility with 20+ therapists and a geriatric long-term care focus.

New graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in long-term care and documentation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must hold a valid NY license and registration.
• Experience in long-term care and geriatrics preferred.
• Strong documentation and charting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct PT care.
• Establish and administer individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient conditions and progress; educate patients and families.
• Oversee and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
