Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors delivering services to U.S. military members.

The role focuses on weekend coverage with occasional weekday assignments under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in South Carolina, on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate is an experienced NP with active licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and familiarity with primary, urgent, or occupational health in mobile clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health preferred
• Willingness to travel to remote military installations and work weekends/weeks

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel
• Review health history, medical records, and medical questionnaires
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns
• Identify any concerns needing immediate attention including Behavioral Health
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record
