Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital in Edmond, OK seeks a Weekend PRN Inpatient Pharmacy Tech to assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling and delivery. Required HS Diploma/GED; OSBP-PhT within 90 days of hire if not currently licensed; and 25 wpm typing.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• OSBP-PhT license must be obtained within 90 days of hire for those without current license.
• Phase I Training must be completed within 1 week of hire and Phase II Training must be completed within the first 90 days of receiving their license.
• Typing speed of 25 words per minute is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains drug products, places them in appropriate containers, labels containers and presents to a registered pharmacist for review.
• Repacks and labels medications, issues and records floor stock items, inspects floor stock and reports to the pharmacy supervisor.
• Operates and restocks Pyxis and RxOBOT dispensing machines.
• Ensures timely and accurate delivery of medications.
• Manages inventory transactions and balances counts with book value.
• Answers the pharmacy window and telephone, handles charging and crediting of medications and emergency cart maintenance.
