Qualifications

• An associate degree in OT Aide program or OTA program is required.
• Current NC OTA certification and active licensure preferred.
• Background in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapy interventions as directed by the OT, focusing on ADLs.
• Provide hands-on assistance during therapy sessions with exercises and devices.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and report changes to the OT.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and treatment plans.
• Educate residents and families on continuing exercises at home.
• Collaborate with OT, nursing staff, and rehab professionals to coordinate care.
• Adhere to facility policies and state/federal regulations at all times.
