Job summary
Helping Hearts USA LLC is seeking a weekend private-duty caregiver in the Dickson, TN area to provide compassionate in-home care.
You will work every Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with active involvement in personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow care plans and HIPAA guidelines are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18
- Caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Current car insurance
- Good driving record
- Ability to work independently in a private home setting
- Ability to follow a care plan
- Ability to document accurately
- Ability to communicate professionally with the office
- Ability to maintain client privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to meet attendance expectations for every scheduled shift
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care as directed by the care plan
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily routines
- Support client safety and supervision throughout the shift
- Prepare or assist with meals and snacks
- Encourage hydration as directed
- Complete light housekeeping related to the client’s care area
- Assist with laundry, dishes, tidying, and keeping care areas safe
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition
- Provide medication reminders only as directed by the care plan and company policy
- Complete required documentation before the end of each shift
- Communicate concerns, changes, or incidents to the office immediately
- Follow all Helping Hearts policies and client care instructions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality at all times
