Qualifications

• Active Georgia APRN license and PMHNP-BC certification.
• Prescriptive authority per Georgia law; DEA registration if required.
• Experience delivering psychiatric care in addiction or behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours psychiatric consultation to nursing and behavioral health staff.
• Assess psychiatric symptoms and co-occurring conditions in patients.
• Provide medication management including prescribing and monitoring.
• Support after-hours admissions with clinical review and treatment recommendations.
• Respond to urgent psychiatric concerns and coordinate with the treatment team.
• Coordinate with Medical Director and staff; document actions promptly.
• Maintain compliance with APRN rules, HIPAA, and facility policies.
