Samba Recovery in Jonesboro, GA seeks an experienced PMHNP for weekend on-call psychiatric support at a 24/7 detox facility. The role involves consultation, medication management, and clinical assessments for adults with substance use and co-occurring conditions, with some on-site evaluations as needed.

The position is primarily remote/on-call, requiring availability by phone and approved systems during assigned hours. On-site duties may be required based on clinical needs and facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Georgia APRN license.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• Prescriptive authority per Georgia law; DEA registration if required.
• Experience in psychiatric care, behavioral health, addiction treatment, or substance use disorder.
• Ability to remain accessible and responsive during on-call periods.
• Experience with electronic health records systems (EHR).

Responsabilités

• Provide after-hours psychiatric consultation to nursing and behavioral health staff.
• Assess psychiatric symptoms and co-occurring conditions in patients undergoing treatment.
• Manage medications within authorized practice and monitor responses.
• Support after-hours admissions with clinical review and recommendations.
• Respond to urgent psychiatric concerns and escalate when clinically indicated.
• Coordinate with Medical Director and interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Document consultations and treatment orders accurately.
• Maintain compliance with APRN requirements and HIPAA and facility policies.
