Job summary

Avalon Services Group is seeking a Picker/Packer for weekend shifts at our distribution center. You will review orders, locate, prepare, and pack merchandise, and ensure accuracy for shipment. RF scanners help maintain inventory accuracy as you sort and organize packages for delivery.

Physical tasks include standing, lifting, and moving products, with teamwork and safety in mind. Background check is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse/fulfillment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift and move products.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders, locate, prepare, and pack merchandise.
• Ensure each order is accurate and ready for shipment.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy using RF scanners.
• Sort packages by destination to create bulk orders.
• Assist with unloading trucks and organizing boxes.
• Collaborate with other departments when needed.
