Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Temporary/Weekend Physical Therapy Assistant to provide hands-on rehabilitation support under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility to aid patient recovery.

Candidates should hold a PT Assistant credential/license and demonstrate strong patient care, communication, and documentation skills.

Formación

• PT Assistant credential/license required to practice.
• Strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform therapeutic interventions and support safe mobility.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation and EMR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor patient responses during treatment and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety guidance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care.
