Job Opportunity: Weekend Start-of-Care Physical Therapist (PT) at BAYADA Home Health Care

Position: Part-time Weekend Start-of-Care Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Serving adult and geriatric clients in Washington County

Requirements: Home Health and OASIS experience required

About the Role

As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to enable clients to remain at home.

Responsibilities

1. Make home visits within designated geographic territories.
2. Perform diagnostic tests and measurements related to mobility, strength, balance, and safety assessments.
3. Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
4. Develop and execute individualized care plans including manual therapies and gait training.
5. Assess and update care plans, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
6. Educate clients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
7. Document all observations and interventions accurately using electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• Minimum of one year recent experience as a PT.
• Graduation from an APTA-approved program or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
