Job summary

UPMC in Seneca, PA is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and function. You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, and adapt plans as progress occurs.

Training is available for new graduates and you will rotate through treatment areas as needed to support patient-centered care. Active state license and BLS/CPR are required, with opportunities to participate in staff

Qualifications

Active PT license in the state of practice is required.
CPR/BLS certification per AHA standards within 30 days of hire.
Graduate of an APTA-approved PT program.
Experience in acute care, long-term care, or inpatient rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and treatments.
Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Document care, outcomes, and discharge planning.
Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team.
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants.
Provide home exercise programs and patient education.
Rotate through treatment areas as needed.
Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development.
May supervise PT students and residents.
Adhere to quality customer service standards.
