Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist for weekend shifts. Under the supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor, you will perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.

You will supervise patients and rehab technicians, and assist PT assistants as required by the State Practice Act, while contributing to Mercy's mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification; current before patient care.
• Six months to one year rehab experience preferred; adult/geriatric care preferred.
• Physical requirements: lift 50 lbs, standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants as per State Practice Act.
• Work under Rehab Therapy supervisor and align with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
