Responsibilities

• Assist in specimen preparation, receipt, and transport.
• Perform patient registration and provide courteous phone support.
• Maintain and use hospital information systems as needed.
• Train new staff and students on standard work processes.
• Receive lab orders, document appropriately, and run routine tests.
• Document results and label specimens according to standards.
• Maintain supplies and inventory; keep work area organized.
