Responsibilities

• Complete annual competency assessments and inspections.
• Store, secure, stock and review medications for expiration.
• Place orders, verify receipts and document in Epic and supplier portals.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws regarding controlled substances.
• Procure medications and deliver to units promptly using approved methods.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and prepare sterile products under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in training new technicians and triage medication-related inquiries.
• Respond to phone calls and coordinate medication orders with care team.
