Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required upon hire.
• Kentucky SLP license required upon hire.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification within 90 days.
• Per diem/PRN schedule with variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, maintains clinical records, and follows performance improvement recommendations.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Performs skill proficiency requirements as related to experience.
• Aides with department maintenance.
• Utilizes equipment and materials according to standards and identifies new resources desired for projected budget formulation.
• Assists with statistical data collection for performance improvement projects.
• Assists the supervisor with graduate student supervision by supervising SLP students completing clinical rotations.
