Job summary

Allied Physicians Group’s Wellcare Pediatrics in Whitestone, NY is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician for a part-time outpatient role (10 hours/week on Sat-Sun). No hospital rounds, flexible extra shifts across Allied locations, and a team of 150+ providers support clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required; pediatric subspecialty not needed
• Active New York State medical license or able to obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Current DEA registration and valid PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for infants, children and adolescents
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Perform well and sick child visits and preventive care
• Guide families on development, nutrition and long-term health
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and document in EMR
