Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for weekend nights on a part-time schedule. The position supports nursing staff, provides direct patient care, and assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and PCT training or THR-approved program. BCLS and CPI are required, with emphasis on teamwork, documentation, and safe patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete PCT training program or THR-approved program; not required to maintain certification after hire.
• BCLS and CPI Training prior to independent patient care and ongoing maintenance.
• EMT, nursing student, or foreign nursing degree may be considered with hire conditions.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assistance per plan of care and patient needs.
• Collect and report patient data, assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and meet patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participate in process improvement and uphold safety goals.
