Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is seeking a Weekend Special RN for PCCU, nights, in Enid, OK. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care on a Progressive Care Unit with collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications include Oklahoma RN license, ADN required, BSN preferred; BLS and ALS within 6 months; PALS and CCRN preferred. Schedule includes 36 hours/week with weekends across six months and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• ADN required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS required.
• ALS required within 6 months of PCCU employment (new grads: 6 months post-orientation).
• PALS preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
• Most recent performance evaluation meets or exceeds standards.
• Attendance guideline.
• Commit to a 36-hour week with weekend shifts (Sat/Sun and Fri or Mon).
• Commit to 24 weekends in six months.
• Commit to annual holiday rotation.
• No disciplinary action maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and developing individualized plans of care.
• Implementing and evaluating nursing interventions using the nursing process.
• Coordinating interdisciplinary care to support patient recovery.
• Involving patients and families in care planning, education, and discharge preparation.
• Supporting the emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones.
