Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Clerical, Registration, and/or Customer Service experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with patient intake and data collection is preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance and demographic data entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors schedule for patients arriving at the department.
• Registers scheduled, non-scheduled or emergent patients for the assigned department.
• Obtains patient identification and insurance information and enters data into the computer system.
• Collects co-payments or deposits as appropriate.
• Balances cash drawer as part of end-of-day process.
