Job summary

Aggieland Safari in Bryan, TX is seeking full-time and/or part-time non-exempt Maintenance technicians to join our team. You will assist in daily operations, repair enclosures, vehicles, fences, and more, working near animals with safety protocols.

Weekend and holiday work is required; shifts run between 8AM-6PM, and the zoo opens Thursday through Monday, 9AM-5PM. Qualifications include basic carpentry, plumbing, and tools knowledge, ability to lift 50 lbs, and valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and tools/power tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and repair enclosures, vehicles, fences, and related infrastructure.
• Perform general maintenance tasks around zoo grounds and amenities.
• Maintain and repair zoos vehicles, fences, roads, and pasture areas.
