Job summary

Signet Health Corp. is staffing two Weekend Part-Time Intake Health Clinician positions at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.

The role focuses on clinical assessments in the ED to determine program suitability and provides psychosocial support as part of the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include coordinating psychiatric assessments with attending psychiatrists, conducting psychosocial assessments, facilitating groups, and helping develop treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in behavioral health
• Experience facilitating groups is preferred
• Licensed in Washington, DC as LPC/LISW/LICSW required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the psychiatric assessment process with the attending psychiatrists.
• Completes Psychosocial Assessments, reviews treatment plans and conducts groups, as needed on the Units.
• Maintains contact with nursing homes, medical-surgical units and other facilities to promote the program and educate about services.
• Provides ongoing communications with referral sources concerning patient status.
