Job summary

Signet Health Corporation in Washington, DC, is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to conduct psychosocial assessments in the Emergency Department and determine patient suitability for the program. You will provide direct clinical social work services to patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team, including psychosocial assessments, groups, family therapies, and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health.
• Experience facilitating access to community resources and conducting therapeutic groups.
• License in Washington, DC as LPC, LISW, LGPC or LGSW required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate psychiatric assessment process with attending psychiatrists.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and review treatment plans.
• Conduct groups on units as needed.
• Maintain contact with nursing homes, medical-surgical units and other facilities for education and referrals.
• Communicate status of referred patients with sources.
