Job summary

Aloft Tempe seeks a Weekend Bartender (Part Time) to craft cocktails and serve guests in our bar and lounge. You will take orders, prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in line with brand standards.

You’ll mix drinks to a standard menu, verify IDs, restock and maintain bar cleanliness, and assist in kitchen when needed. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package through the employer, including a 401(k) match, paid holidays, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartender experience.
• Ability to mix and serve cocktails per brand standards.
• Excellent guest service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner; take orders and serve drinks and food.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make appropriate recommendations.
• Check customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Restock and maintain bar inventory, supplies, alongside workstation cleanliness.
• When the cook position is not staffed, be able to prepare menu items in accordance with kitchen and food-safety standards.
